Shower Room
Mira overhead rain shower and hand-held shower, toilet, washbasin and vanity unit, heated towel rail, convector heater.

King size bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside drawers, occasional chairs, coffee table, dressing table/small desk, Radiator.

Generously equipped including AEG fridge freezer, Neff double oven, dishwasher & induction hob, Panasonic microwave, Radiator.


Immediately outside the apartment is a composite decked patio area with glass balustrade screening. There is outdoor rattan effect seating with cushions and a coffee table, parasol and parasol stand.  

Guests are welcome to stroll around the gently sloping front garden the main part of which has level access from the driveway.  The garden is not securely fenced.


Most of the major supermarkets are around a 15-minute drive away (Waitrose is a little further, over the Tamar Bridge in Saltash). We would be more than happy to do a food shop prior to your arrival, just send us a list of what you require.

We would also be happy to do a service wash and dry for you should you need it during your stay.

We hope you will have everything you need for your stay but we are always on hand if you require anything.

We have two travel cots, one for up to three months old and another for babies over three months old plus a highchair/table chair for use if required. 


Disabled Guests
As it is all on one level and has ramp access, Blue Slates may be suitable for people with disabilities.  There is an access overview on the website but please contact us to find out if the property would suit your needs.  

Blue Slates has a carpeted living room.  A maximum of two small well behaved dogs at a charge of £15 per visit would be accepted by prior arrangement, but they must not be left in the apartment on their own and we request that they do not sit on the furniture or go into the bedroom.  There is access to an outside tap for cleaning hounds prior to entering the property and we will provide towels.  Please note that the garden is not secure and there is access to the lane and open moorland from the garden and drive.


Covid19 Protocol
We respect self-distancing and offer a contact-free check-in.  There is plenty of space in our property to be sure that you won't bump into anyone.  We are complying with Government advice for cleaning and disinfecting between stays.  For more information, please contact us. 

If we have to temporarily cease operating due to Covid-19, you will get a refund.


House Rules

  • Check-in: 2 p.m.

  • Check-out: 11 a.m.

  • Max. occupancy: 2 plus cot

  • Slippers to be worn inside please. There is a box for wellies and walking boots outside the front door and a box inside if it’s chucking it down.

  • Babies are welcome.

  • Parties/events are not allowed however, additional daytime guests are welcome.

  • Up to two small well behaved dogs would be considered but please contact us first to discuss.

  • This is a no-smoking property.
